PA Gas Directory LLC was founded by Joe Barone, Ed Kundahl and Vera Anderson, three business professionals with each having over 30 years of business experience. 

As business professionals, they saw the opportunities being afforded by the Marcellus Shale development and moved quickly create the first electronic directory for natural gas companies, their employees and their families.  Workers at Range, Halliburton, Weatherford, Chesapeake and Chief to name a few have found the Directory to be a valuable resource as they travel from county to county.

These three individuals bring unique experience in the areas of marketing, technology and finance which can be found below.

Edward Kundahl 

Ed is President and owner of [ ideaovertenLLC ], which offers clients total Web, search marketing and interactive media solutions.

Ed is one of five outside consultants to a major search engine Worldwide.  He has consulted to some of the largest corporations in the World, but his roots are in small business search engine optimization and marketing and making sites accessible to the search engines and user friendly.  Ed has a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Ed holds 5 patents for the delivery of biologicals in vitro and in vivo. He brings his skills and intellect as a scientist to work for his clients. Very few, if any, SEO-SEM "experts" bring the scientific methodology to the table for their clients.

In addition, Ed has an MBA in Online Marketing from the University of California, San Francisco. A majority of Ed’s MBA work was done at the Harvard Business School and Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Joe Barone

Joe is a seasoned marketing/advertising executive who has been at the forefront of internet marketing.  He owned an advertising agency and interactive company, which developed its first web site in 1995 when most people had no idea what the Internet meant.

Joe was at the cutting edge of teaching online.  As an adjunct professor in Drexel University’s MBA Program, he was one of the first professors in the country to create online courses – e-Commerce Strategy and Marketing and Strategic Customer Relationship Marketing.  He also taught his online course e-Commerce Strategy and Marketing in St. Joseph University’s MBA Program.

In his advertising career, Joe has helped companies large and small build their business with innovative internet marketing programs.

Vera Anderson

Vera brings very broad financial experience to PA Gas Directory, LLC.  She has worked for a number of banks ranging from small community banks to large multi-national banks.  Her entire career has been spent working with business, non-profits and state/local organizations throughout Pennsylvania.  Vera serves on a number of boards on both a state and local level. 

Her banking experience includes managing a $500 million cash management department as well as working in receivables management.  Vera has developed successful banking relationships with ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small 5-employee businesses.

As business professionals, Ed, Joe and Vera saw the opportunities being afforded by the Marcellus Shale development and moved quickly create the first electronic directory for natural gas companies, their employees and their families. 

PA Gas Directory, LLC is the first company in the Marcellus and Utica Natural Gas Plays to create an online directory that connects the natural gas industry with companies in the industry as well as local businesses.  The new ShaleDirectories.com which is a collection of four state directories for Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and New York respectively, will have 156,000 basic listings and over 75 Platinum Listings.

A basic listing is the company’s name, address and phone number.  Platinum Listings are much more robust and include the following:
