Job Description
1. JOB SUMMARY: · To supervise the crews that preform different tasks on the Drill Rig; to ensure that the work is done properly, safety and with efficiency, all according to the regulations and company policies of Keane’s and their customers.
2. PHYSICAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS: · Frequent Climbing (stairs, ladders, terrain) · Frequent lifting (70 pounds) · Frequent bending, twisting and standing · Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather conditions. (hot, cold dust, dirt, noise, and gas fumes) · Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week
3. ESSENTIAL TASKS: · Ensures that the crew follows Companies policies. · Ensuring the work is done properly, safely and with efficiency. · Maintain full control of the Rig at all times · Assure that proper procedures and policies are followed. · Communicate with customer representative (OSR) · Upon the absences of the Toolpusher, Driller will assume duties and roles of Toolpusher. · Enforcing the rules regarding safety PPE that all crew members must use during rig operations. · Constantly verifying the equipment and records of the data in a log. · Operating the paperwork related to the required files for ect; permits, accounting, customer and equipment. · Maintain accurate documentation: Bit Logs, Task specific tallies/depth, daily drill logs, daily IDAC , Fuel · Adjust the machine for optimized functionality.(Whenever necessary) · All others duties assigned and requested. · Ensures fuels levels are accurately inventoried and maintained. Rig hand measures fuel levels and replenishes the various fuel tanks using the “spill champion method”. · Preforms routine maintenance on Rig · Participates in housekeeping activities: cleaning, washing and painting of rig and rig support equipment. · Participates in pre-tour meeting: Safety and JSA’s · Complete all others duties as assigned/directed by Toolpusher.
Job Requirements
1. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE and Technology REQUIREMENTS: · At least 2 years’ experience in the oil and gas drilling industry.(Drilling preferred) · Must have fluent knowledge of oil and gas well drilling · Able to navigate and operate all technical equipment on rig. · Ability to communicate and comprehend the efforts of others · Ability to understand the use and capabilities of the oil and gas equipment and tools. · Ability to think and act quickly · Ability to work in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: · Working together in a positive team environment. · The ability to work effectively with and exhibit a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to every level of employees and managers in the company including adaptability of Customer representatives . · Must be organized and attentive to details in a fast pass working environment. · Ability to multi-task · Ability to operate in a team environments. · Ability to champion a company safety culture. · Leadership skills
3. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS · Grad, GED or Equivalent Experience · First Aid (Preferred) · CPR (Preferred) · Forklift Training (Preferred) · Lock out, Tag out (Preferred) · Well Control School (Preferred) · PEC Premier (Preferred)
