Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Is in charge of the implementation of the FRAC operations at a well site. Responsible the execution and specific operations at well location to minimize risk of accident’s and incidents. Coordinates and supervises FRAC jobs activities within the field as per Well Service Operational guidelines.
REPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Coordinate with Customer expectations
- Identify and delegate responsibilities as needed utilizing the expertise on location and in the office
- Prior to Morning Safety Meeting
- Ensure all SSE paperwork is in place and SSE’s are assigned (coordinate with Dispatcher on Schedules).
- Coordinate with Sand Deliveries for Day with Logistics Manager.
- Coordinate Acid Deliveries with Logistics Manager.
- Coordinate Chemical Deliveries with Dispatcher.
- Coordinate with Site Mechanic on availability of equipment on location.
- Make sure you have proper communication/organization flow for location. Assign/Designate responsible individuals for Ground Foreman, Pump Lead, Blender Lead, Sand Hog Lead, Logistics Lead, Engineer Lead, and Mechanic Lead. (coordinate with Dispatcher)
- Morning Safety Meeting o Take lead on Safety Meeting
- Review incidents from previous day’s work (if any).
- Assign your embedded Safety Tech
- Ensure location is staffed properly
- Verify that we have plenty of water for operations.
- While Pumping or Pumping Guns:
- Responsible for entire location which is not limited to just Keane personnel, you need to be aware of what operations are going on at all times. You need to know who’s doing what, why and when. It’s your location!
- Between Stages
- Verify valve operations and positioning.
- Make sure pump operators are checking their packing and emptying their buckets.
- Ensure safety of personnel if maintenance is being performed.
- Communicate with all Leads (Mechanics, Pumps, etc) to resolve any issues prior to completing next stage.
- HSE Responsibilities
- Manage incidents and make sure reports are turned over in a timely manner. HSE will assist; if necessary, but it is your responsibility to complete the reports (utilize your Engineers if you have to).
- Verify that employees are working with proper JSA’s.
- Manage SSE’s.
- End of Day
- Make sure all logs are turned in (must be turned in daily). Review each log prior to sending to office. Have employees make corrections when you find errors. Expenses need to be turned in by the end of day Saturday. o Gather reports, scorecards (customer to complete – OSR’s and HSE),
- Deliverables to Location
- Coordinate with Dispatcher on items that are required for the next days (parts, supplies, etc.). Utilize vehicles that run to the shop as much as possible for these deliveries. · Ensure that all equipment is keep clean, neat and as presentable as possible at all times.
Job Requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ·
- Five (5) or more years of experience in a supervisory role
- Five (5) or more years of experience in well service operations
- Ability to communicate and comprehend the efforts of others
- Good Communication skills
- Strong analytical approach to problems
- Ability to solve technical and complex problems and to take decision making processes.t
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic PC skills including MS Word/Excel
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good Communication skills
- Working together in a positive team environment.
- Previous Frac experiences
- Must be organized and attentive to details in a fast pass working environment.
- Knowledge of Cummins Insight and other diagnostic software · Ability to multi-task
- Ability to operate independently is important.
- Ability to champion a company safety culture.
- You will help to promote safety awareness, follow policies & procedures on quality, health, safety & environment. Will also maintain required Quality & HSE certifications up to date. You have a high attention to detail, are extremely organized and have the ability to multi-task all the while working safely: Proper PPE
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Grad, GED or Equivalent Experience
- CDL A - Hazmat (preferred)
- Current well control certification required
- First Aid (Preferred)
- CPR (Preferred)
- Forklift Training (Preferred)
- Lock out, Tag out (Preferred)
- PEC Premier (Preferred)
