2017 Marcellus-Utica Midstream Conference to Connect Hundreds of Midstream Experts to Emerging Markets
While most of the U.S. experienced a decline in natural gas production, output in the Northeast climbed from 5 Bcf/d to 22.8 Bcf/d in the past five years. Vast new markets are emerging around the Marcellus and Utica as LNG export terminals, such as Dominion’s (NYSE: D) Cove Point, come online and multi-national companies, such as Shell (NYSE: RDSA), move forward on massive new ethane crackers to serve clients around the world. From January 24-26, Hart Energy’s 2017 Marcellus-Utica Midstream conference and exhibition will gather midstream operators, upstream producers, analysts and leading service companies in Pittsburgh to examine midstream opportunities and challenges discussed in a series of expert panels and keynote presentations.
The eighth annual Marcellus-Utica Midstream Conference and Exhibition will focus on midstream operators’ innovative strategies and will identify new markets emerging for Appalachia’s bounty of natural gas. Themed “New Connections”, the conference agenda features three panels and multiple keynote presentations on Marcellus and Utica activity, from midstream projects planned and underway to forecasts on commodity prices and CAPEX investment.
“Many midstream operators are venturing to the Marcellus and Utica as capacity potential and demand grows in this region,” said Paul Hart, editor-in-chief of Midstream Business. “This growth requires companies to make new connections and follow the latest developments to stay apace with demand. Experts look to the 2017 Marcellus-Utica Midstream conference and exhibition as an informative source to help guide their next steps and make those crucial connections.”
This January, hundreds of midstream stakeholders will gather in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh to listen to an operator-focused line-up of speakers, including:
- Alan Armstrong, President and CEO, The Williams
- Marc Halbritter, Senior Vice President, Business Development, Blue Racer Midstream
