🌷 April is Full of Meaning
April isn’t just about planting — it’s also a month of reflection and renewal.
✝️ Easter – April 5
Easter is a beautiful time of renewal, hope, and fresh beginnings. Just like the earth coming back to life after winter, it reminds us of growth, faith, and gratitude for the blessings around us — including the opportunity to plant, nurture, and watch something flourish
🌿 National Gardening Day – April 14
What better excuse to get your hands in the soil? Gardening is more than a hobby — it’s therapy, exercise, and nourishment all in one. Whether you’re planting tomatoes, herbs, or flowers, we’re stocked and ready to help.
🌎 Earth Day – April 22
Earth Day is a reminder to care for the land that provides for us. Consider adding pollinator-friendly plants, composting, or improving soil health this season. Small steps make a big difference.
🌳 Arbor Day – April 24
Planting a tree is one of the best investments you can make — for your property and for future generations. We can help you select the right tree for your space and provide guidance on proper planting and care.
🌱 What To Do In Your Garden This April
Here are a few great ways to get started this month:
- Prep and test your soil
- Start cool-season vegetables (lettuce, spinach, peas, onions)
- Plant early shrubs and trees
- Divide perennials
- Fertilize your lawn
- Clean up garden beds and refresh mulch
- Start planning your Mother’s Day flower displays
