On Feb. 13, Callon Petroleum Company (NYSE: CPE) completed its $633 million acquisition of oil and natural gas assets in the southern Delaware Basin from American Resource Development LLC, the company said that day. Callon acquired about 16,700 net surface acres in Ward and Pecos counties, Texas, consisting of 16,098 initially disclosed, and 590 incremental net acres acquired between the signing and the closing. The incremental acres are either within or contiguous to the Ward County footprint.The $633 million was inclusive of the incremental acreage and the purchase of Ameredev Midstream Development LLC’s midstream assets.
