$CATS, one of the most anticipated web3 tokens, is officially getting listed today on exchanges, and the players have prepared to cash out after three months of engagement with the app.
The CATS token is now being airdropped to all the eligible users, and in this article, we will cover all things regarding the listing, airdrop, expected price, and the exchanges it is getting listed to. Also, we will check whether to HODL or sell it and provide a withdrawal guide. Let’s begin.
The Journey of CATS So Far
Cats is a web3 mobile game that works within Telegram’s mini-app ecosystem. Players can earn $CATS by doing various in-game activities and can withdraw the tokens to their personal wallets. Here is the journey of the app till now:
- Initial Days: When the Telegram-based incremental games started gaining a huge number of users, the market saw the arrival of various exciting games, and the CATS was started as a competitor for the famous DOGS game. It became an instant favorite of web3 enthusiasts and now has around 50 million active players.
- Airdrop Distribution: After three months of the mining phase, the airdrop gateway was opened on September 30. In order to receive the airdrop, users just need to connect their TON wallet and pay a small gas fee with the TON coin. The withdrawal is now stopped as the platform moves to the listing event.
- CATS Listing: The tokens will be listed on prominent exchanges on October 8th at 10.00 UTC. As of today, over 20 million connected wallets are expecting to withdraw their earnings.
Where is it Getting Listed?
The token will be listed in all the exchanges that organized its pre-market trading competition. Also, the users can swap it through decentralized exchanges with proper liquidity. Here is the list:
- Bybit: A pre-market trading competition of CATS was concluded in Bybit, and now it is getting listed today. The floor price of pre-market was $0.0001 and the total trading volume reached 1,147,088 dollars.
- Bitget: The total trading volume of the pre-market campaign of CATS reached 3.89 million dollars in Bitget, and the event will end on today at 09:30 UTC, just before the listing time.
- Gate.io: The last price of CATS pre-market trading in Gate.io reached 0.0003 USDT per coin, and the event is concluded now. The exchange will list the token on the Spot at 10:00 UTC today.
- KuCoin: KuCoin’s CATS pre-market trading will conclude at the time of the listing, and the last trading price is reported as 0.000211 USDT.
- Other Exchanges: The CATS tokens will also be listed on popular centralized exchanges like HashKey Global and MEXC. Also, it is available for swapping in SOL-based DEX platforms.
$CATS: Should I Sell or HODL?
CATS has a total supply of 600 billion tokens and 55% is allocated for the airdrop campaign. And, the community expects to launch a Season 2 after the listing so the allocation will be distributed among the two seasons. This means we can expect around 25% sell-off upon the listing.
CATS seems like a potential project to attract future investors and after this sell-off, the token has a high chance of creating another wave of uptrend. Today’s price per token is $0.00021, and Season 2 is expected to be bigger than this one, and the community expects a double increase in the market cap.
The data and market sentiment show that it is better to HODL the tokens till the arrival of Season 2. However, the crypto market is uncertain and to escape the fear of missing out, a better thing to do is sell a portion of the listing and HODL a portion for the long term.
Listing Dates of Other Major Web3 Tap2Earn Apps
- Hamster Kombat: The HMSTR token was listed on 26th September, and the huge sell-offs drove the asset into a dip. The users now look for another uptrend.
- X Empire: Users can trade X Empire’s $X tokens as NFT Vouchers, and the campaign is live on GetGems. It is a part of pre-listing activities, and the listing is expected by the community to begin on October 15, 2024.
- TapSwap: The devs officially confirmed that the listing will happen before October 30, 2024. The token generation event and the airdrop distribution will commence soon.
- MemeFi: The listing date of MemeFi tokens is officially confirmed as October 30, 2024. However, changes are expected as happened with similar web3 games.
