Pittsburgh, PA; October 8, 2013: Dawood Engineering (Dawood) is proud to be awarded the Supplier of the Year Award from The Western Pennsylvania Minority Supplier Development Council (WPMSDC) at the top regional minority businesses and corporations during their Ninth Annual Awards Gala on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the LeMont Restaurant on Mount Washington. Over 220 guests filled the LeMont for the sold-out event, with gourmet food and live entertainment.
In 2012, Dawood celebrated its 20th Anniversary. As the company started its third decade in business as a civil engineering firm, it achieved record-setting revenue growth, opened a regional office in Ohio (the firm’s seventh location) and expanded its service offerings. Dawood achieved ranking on the 2013 Engineering News Record (ENR) Top 500 Design Firm National list, an annual publication.
