The Birdsboro Pipeline project involved routing and permitting new natural gas and electrical transmission lines in Berks County, Pennsylvania. During bid phase, Dawood provided contractors with a Story Map depicting construction challenges such as horizontal directional drilling (HDD) proposed for the pipelines and karst geology, cultural, and rare, threatened, and endangered species data. We also developed web-based project management tools and assisted permitting groups with spatial analysis supporting local, state, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) requirements.
