European Energy Example A Huge Warning for America

The European energy scene is one that must serve as an example for America; an example of precisely what not to do. Yet, California and New York are copying it.

What is happening with European energy is nothing less a view into a dystopian world of unending disasters that are also gradually descending upon California and New York, not to mention other ignorant urban states. We have published blog post after post here about the utter failure of the of German Energiewende, as have many others, but the shrill voices of those determined to remake society through climate change policy have led blue states to dream European energy dreams even as their nightmare descends.

The nightmare cannot be denied. European energy prices are out of control. The Dutch equivalent of the Henry Hub natural gas price, according to Robert Bryce, is now at a level that is more than six multiples of the latter ($36 versus less than $6). Think about that; European energy in the form of natural gas now costs six times as much as American energy. This is attributable, of course, to foolish Energiewende policies and the push by European energy busybodies such as the outrageously horrible World Economic Forum to use COVID, climate and anything else they can call a crisis to grab over as much power over humanity as possible.

Yes, even as the control enterprise is gathering speed from a propagandist perspective, the rear tires of the 18-wheeler roaring down the highway of politics are exploding and the axles are deteriorating. Disaster awaits down the road for California and New York, where US politicos such as the Governors of the Golden and Empire States, who believe more in a new world order than in America are courting European energy policies already producing blackouts and other energy nightmares across the pond. Indeed, as Bryce notes in a wonderful interview our friend Ann McElhinney, Europe is going to be forced to drill, baby, drill in formations such as the Bowland Shale (or buy more of our LNG):
