Well Pad Seeding Success
These are before and after pictures of a well pad that a customer of ours hydroseeded in 2015. This well pad is located in Harrison County, Ohio in the Utica shale formation. I picked this particular well pad to showcase because the drilling rig was already on the well pad when we delivered the seed, profile hydromulch, fertilizer, and lime. Usually the well pad is seeded before the drilling rig arrives.
The seed mix that was used on this well pad was a custom seed mix of forage endophyte free tall fescue, forage endophyte free perennial ryegrass, birdsfoot trefoil, white clover and red clover. This well pad was hydroseeded on May 15th and the second picture on July 2nd shows a full stand of lush, green grasses and legumes.
We have a fleet of six delivery trucks and our delivery drivers leave at 6:00 am to ensure that we arrive at the well pad at the same time as the customer, or earlier.
