Vic Furman, candidate for a seat in the New York State General Assembly, issues what is effectively his agenda for Albany on behalf of Upstate New York!

To NY State Farmers, Landowners, and those who believe in our property rights:

I have been blogging on this site from its inception “all things Natural Gas.” Today I write as a candidate in a race for NYS-122nd Assembly.  NG-Drilling is not a dead issue in NY; it is a political issue. The solution is to elect people who will push the agenda, which is truth and transparency in Albany. This is especially critical on the Assembly floor. Many of the 104 majority of Democrats are simply deafened by lies and distortions issued by left wing propagandists of the likes of Professors Ingraffea, Howarth and Steingraber.

Well, money or the lack of it, makes me an underdog in this race as my opponents have spent hundreds of thousands on the race so far and it’s only a primary. Yet, I am a real contender and the call from the Republican Broome County Chair to drop out and support Joe Angelino proves it. I have, through the use of social media, created quite a following. I only need 26% of the vote to win as there are four in the race and, hopefully, it stays close.

What will I do should I win the primary on June 23rd and get the seat on November 3rd?  I will represent every farmer, every landowner in New York State by spending every day in my office and on the floor of the house as well as meet in private with other legislators to educate them on New York State’s failures to drill for natural gas. I will also show the lies of the brown water jug carriers and the Hollywood activists. I will scream from the pulpit of my office about the injustice of a statewide ban on our rights to drill.

“Clean wind and solar” have been exposed by Michael Moore as the fraud they represent. They are both costly and environmentally unsound and it’s time “Planet of The Humans” becomes an Albany pro-gas commercial and I will make that happen. Many of you may remember how we converted Senator Ball from anti to pro-gas after the JLCNY and I met with him and other legislators in Albany showing the film “FrackNation,” which exposed Josh Faux’s “Gasland” as trumped up lies.

The race is tight, so whether you live in New York or you just you know of family or friends who live anywhere in the 122nd Assembly District of New York,  please call them and ask them to support me on mail-in ballots, early voting, or on June 23 at the polls. Your voice means more to me then money; your trust is everything to me.
