A group of four Democrat Pennsylvania State Senators and one RINO, all from the Philadelphia region, have requested the Senate committee that will hold a hearing on reconfirming state Dept. of Environmental Protection Secretary Patrick McDonnell to a second term, be put on hold. The gang of five are fighting the completion of the Mariner East 2 pipeline project and believe McDonnell improperly approved and has covered up problems with the project. Don’t you love it when Dems turn on their own?
Yesterday State Senators Andy “Tony Soprano” Dinniman (D-Chester), Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery), Katie Muth (D-Chester), Tom Killion (RINO-Delaware) and Tim Kearney (D-Chester) sent a letter to the Senate Environmental Committee asking for a postponement of the April 30 reconfirmation hearing “until investigations regarding the Mariner East project are complete as aspects of these investigations specifically cite state regulators.” Yeah baby, there’s a full-blown witch hunt going on. And the gang of five will not be denied their witch. They’re gunning for McDonnell. The long knives are out.
We recently said we don’t support reconfirming McDonnell because he likes to over-regulate, especially when it comes to mythical man-made global warming. However, since the gang of five lefties are on a witch hunt to get rid of of McDonnell, we need to rethink our own opposition. Seriously.
The gang of five sent the following letter to the Senate Environmental Committee:
The gang of five (minus one) then sent the following letter to McDonnell, asking him a bunch of snarky questions:
It’s pretty plain from the letter above the gang of five wants to toss McDonnell. Nasty bunch of people. Glad we’re not in the PA Senate, having to break break with people like these.
