Brazil’s Lower House approves natgas reform

Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies has approved the introduction of a new gas framework for the country, Kallanish Energy reports. The bill, which will now be passed to the Brazilian Senate to vote on, was approved on Tuesday by 351 votes to 101, providing for the “authorization instead of concession” for the transportation of natural gas and storage in depleted oil fields.
