Production of natural gas in Texas remained strong enough to meet the increased demand during February’s historic winter storm and power losses across the supply chain, according to a new report commissioned by the Texas Oil & Gas Association.
The Texas power grid was able to call upon a strong supply of dispatchable natural gas held in storage to boost electricity generation and home heating as an historic winter storm hit the state last month.
